Lazy thoughts

In the subtle sweep
The summer heat
Sinks in to this land

Our second breath
Sinks in to our chest
At last – for a moment all are
young again

From dawn – until dusk
We feel the rush
Of a lust long thought to be faded

But the sun sets in
Shadows stretch across earths skin
And at once we again feel age’ed
